I encourage all students to continue working dilligently through the rest of the school year. I know as the weather gets nicer, each of you will have the inherent want to pay less attention to school and more attention to the world around you...

I strongly recommend that in these times, you focus more clearly and directly at the task at hand and finish the school year strongly. We are officially in the home stretch.

Keep up your hard work.

Journal Project

So far your journals have have been fun to read and you have truly captured the language and the essence of Holden. Good job! Now let's step it up a bit. Start to use different genres in your journals while continuing to reference the text. Use your imagination by either writing a letter, drawing a map, or compiling a dialogue between Holden and one of the other characters in the book. I look forward to reading them!
