EMERSON HAS SOME STRONG VIEWS IN THIS ESSAY. EVEN THO THE VOCABULARY IS ON AN ADVANCED U STILL GET AN IDEA OF WHAT HE IS SAYING. HIS VIEWS MAKE YOU THNK ABOUT EVERYDAY PEOPLE IN LIFE AND HOW YOU CAN APPLY IT TO THEM!

Emerson has pointed out in his essay about his point of view of what makes someone smart and intellectual. He uses very advanced Vocab we dont really use that much but his point is made very well and he backs it up with evidence he finds that makes a person very smart. A person that uses creativity in their thinking.

Emerson has great ideas when it comes to the essay. He used very advanced literary skills. But i still made an underestanding on what he meant. I love the fact he is very creative and thinks different then the average person but he thinks the way we all should.

i had politics. It seemed like a preety general thing. But i think that he is so broad by veiwing every aspect of politics. The dialouge was hard but if you got it then it wasn't so bad. He gets off point a lot always going to something else just when you think you get what hes saying. its very confusing.

In Emerson's essay Prudence Emerson's views are somewhat clear. The tittle connected to the first line of the essay, pretty much explaining the title. Emerson's views go by what he see's and interprets on his surroundings.
In Prudence he speaks of having no great skill, that would help him work. Emerson feels that people are too materialistic.
When reading Emerson's essay it makes me think about today's society which is much like the society Emerson was living in. I believe he is true but only to an extent because we create things to use them not to forbid them and we should not depend on them, and I think that is what Emerson is trying to say.

Emerson was an exceptional author in
the transcendental genre. All of his writing related to, in one way or another, thoughts on social behaviors, whether it be individual
or relating to a certain group. The poems he begins his essays with are a sort of epilogue, a short sight into what the essay will be about. His views are very well expressed and thought-out

Emerson really puts his language into use. His thick language makes it very difficult to actually get his point of view or were he is going to. The poem he starts with uses a lot of metaphors, which it is highly noticeable in the easy. What he mainly talks about is people's intellectuality, how people who are poets look at things differently then others and how they apply it in some situations.

from the beginning of emersons essay his point of view is very clear. he strongly states his thesis and gives us the audience a brief analysis of what he will elaborate throughout the rest of the essay. emerson continudly stated facts to support his ideas . using research and prior knowledge to contrubute to his point of view. even his title give a brief awarness of what we are about to read. his point of view was clear i just found it confusing how he would compare things together.with his writing you really need to pause and thing after each couple of lines so that you can really understand his point and his allusions

Emerson is obviousy a very intelligent person and he has strong views. In the Essay that i had read he very strong views of men in social world. He also talks about how famous men such as
jesus are sometimes built up. Which puts unfair preasure on men, because most men aren,t perfect there just normal

emerson's language is obviously a style we don't use to date. it was weird reading that kind of text. he uses strong language and alot of metaphors. he make shis view clear in the title and also in the text. he states his reasons, but it is pretty hard to understand at first.

THE TITLE PRUDENCE MEANS TO CARE SO I THINK
THIS POEM/ ESSAY MAY BE ABOUT LOVE

How does the starting poem connect to the essay? Why this poem for this essay? (Unifying idea?)

HIS VOCABULARY IS MORE ADVANCED THEN THE REGULAR EVERYDAY VOCABULARY BUT YOU CAN STILL UNDERSTAND WHAT HE SAYING BY USING CONTEXT CLUES

What do you think of Emerson's views in his essay? What do they make you think about? Post to this thread.

I AGREE WITH WHAT HE IS TRYING TO SAY IN HIS ESSAY WHICH IS PEOPLE DONT CARE AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD AND THIS ESSAY MY CHANGE A PERSONS LIFESTYLE TO HAVE MORE PRUDENCE BECAUSE READING THIS MAY HAD A EFFECT ON THEM

his vocabulary makes it really hard to understand what he is trying to say but he turns everyday things into something bigger and beyond ordinary, this connects back to transcendental writing because it’s very idealistic, but I dont see how the poem connects with the story. The story points out the obvious people seem to miss and what being prudent is on his point of view.
