whAT THIS QUOTE MEANS IS A PERSON WHO BECOMES A HERO IS NEVER MEANT TO BE. HE WUZ JUST IN THE RIGHT PLACE IN THE RIGHT TIME. SO IT WUZ A TOTAL CONSIDENCE. 2 PIECES OF LITERATURE I CAN USE IS 1 THE BOOK WILLIE WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY AND 2 THE PASSAGE ABOUT MOTHERS ON DA MIDTERM. THE ELEMENTS THAT THESE 2 HAD WERE THINGS LIKE CHARACTERIZATION AND SETTING. THAT IS WHAT I WOULD PICK!

This quote means that a person who is a "hero" is just naturally a good person. The person was just doing what they thought was right.
The first piece of literature that i can relate this to is an auto-biography of a basketball player named Dikembe Mutumbo. In the book, he explains how he would give most of his salary made as an NBA player to needy children in Africa. He won awards for his generosity, but he stated that he was doing it out of his own good.
The second piece of literature that realtes to this quote is an other auto-biography about a basketball player . Michael Jordan. He was an inspiration to millions of people around the world.Because of what he did on the basketball court gave dreams to so many people. He is a living hero and doesn't at bthe least realize it. The name of this book is 'Driven From Within'-Michael Jordan. As you can see i like to read about sports............

I think this quote by Umberto Eco, means that a real hero is made accidentally, and that reaheroes aren't really meant to be, but due to circumstances they become real hero and it makes them more heroic.
This quote is supported by A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, because the main characters Violet, Klaus and Sunny perform heroic acts to protect one another, not really trying to be heroes just looking out for one another, and at the end they are recognized for their acts.
Another piece is The Diary of Anne Frank. Anne Frank tells a story of a time period within her life, being as horrible as it is, she was always optimistic and went through a lot and managed to make it through as much as she could with her family.

A PERSON WHO BECOMES A HERO IS NEVER MEANT TO BE. HE WUZ JUST IN THE RIGHT PLACE IN THE RIGHT TIME. i would chose hitch hiker guide to the unnerves. the other book would be and war hammer 4000. the first book the main character was running away from trouble but in the end fought back. in the war hammer the main character was the foot troop on the enemy's side in the end he over trowed his empire

I think this quote means that A hero becomes a hero because is is going good not to be revered but to help whoever needs help. Weather it be a firefighter to a swordsman. Because if you try to be a hero it will never happen because you will not focus on helping others.

My first book is loser. I think that is a good example mainly because a boy named Zinkoff tries to find a missing girl named claudia not because he wants to become a heo but because he wants her safe.

my second book is redwall. Its about a mouse tring to destroy a cat threating his land. He protects the land because he cares about him and his freinds and family. Not to recieve reconition from anyone.

what this quote means in my opinion is being a hero does not need to be a big strong man that there are other means of being a hero to yourself or others like making someone feel good about themselves when their down, or doing something good for yourself like keeping yourself out of trouble.

two pieces of literature i would use for this quote would be tweak by: nic sheff and the kite runner by: kahled hosseini, since both characters heroes without realizing it themselves an element I would use is characterization, irony or setting.

What this quote means is that the person who is a hero has been a hero for a long time. That even if he did something heroic that stand out he has always been a person to do such heroic things just not that meaningfull.

2 peices of literature i would pick would be Fallen Angels, and a passage from "Catch 22". simply because the main charecters are always conffused but do heroic acts without knowing it.

The way I iterpreted the quote is, that a true hero doesnt go looking to become a hero or look for praise. A true hero does it for the pure reason that its right thing to do. A true hero falls into his story he doesn,t look for it. A good example of a hero that fell into his tale, is Harry Potter of the seris of the seme name. Harry isnt a hero because of his abilty or because his destiny. He's a hero because he choose to fufill his destiny not because of the glouriy but because its right. Another piece that resinates with this qoute is The Giver. Which centers around jonas who is boy, whos thrown into center of the surving memories of his people. Making him the very important to the communtie. Then it comes to the point where he sees the flaw in communtie. So he inspires the giver to Giver the memmories back and sarficed himself by leaving to save Gabe. A hero is person who doesn't look for his destiny until it is shown, and it comes to the point where the heros has to take it in there own hands.

I believe that what this quote is meant to represent is that a the true hero is a person who doesnt go around claiming to be this superman but by accident is given that claim. The without the audience they do good from the beginning from their own kindness. not for the publicty of it.
2 PIECES of literature I would use would have to be..
1.The mysterios case of benjamin button.
was a man who represented hope. A Man whose never gave up. in my opinion a hero is someone children can look up to and thos qualites represent that.
2.everything is illuminated
this book a boy searches for the woman who saved and preotected his grandfather from the nazi. to this boy this woman was his hero.
both books the heros represented all that was good and righteous people.
